To celebrate the bicentenary of Louis Braille's birth - January 4 1809 - Golden Chord will be involved in some events & promotions during 2009. Roger Firman participated in a service held at the church of St Martin-In-The-Fields, London, on 21 March. He played some organ music by François Couperin; it is possible Louis Braille knew and played this music. There will also be an event in Penzance on 16 October, more details to follow in due course. |
Golden Chord is looking to produce a range of orchestral scores. If you have a particular requiirement, please do get in touch. Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique will be the first item in this transcription project. |
